Rent. is looking for a Sr. Product Manager, Digital Marketing to manage the evolution of Rent’s PPC (pay-per-click) and ancillary suite of product offerings for continued growth and to ensure the most user-friendly, value-add products are available for Rent. Clients.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, B2B Product, you will be key to the success of Rent’s Digital Marketing Solutions (DMS) business.  You will own and oversee the product roadmap for some of our fastest-growing product offerings.  This includes the entire suite of our RentSearch. and RentTarget. solutions, including both automated and agency-level offerings.  More specifically, this includes search engine marketing, geofencing, display advertising, and email marketing. 

You will be responsible for the continued growth and evolution of the solution set, including but not limited to the introduction of new channels (e.g. YouTube, OTT, Amazon, Bing, etc.). You will have the autonomy to identify and evaluate new product opportunities and to fully own that innovation process from end-to-end (ideation through launch).  You will partner closely with the Rent. Agency team on execution against product growth objectives, along with other Rent. core support functions including Marketing, Sales, Operations, Data & Analytics, Engineering, and Finance.  

A Day in the Life..

  • Own and evolve the product roadmap, ensuring that we are bringing to market compelling offerings for market-leading products for the rental industry. You will fully own your products throughout the entirety of the product life cycle, from ideation and design to launch, maintenance, and sunsetting. 
  • Be a subject matter expert, with a keen understanding of client needs and pain points and an understanding of relevant industry trends, to craft solutions to address those needs.  Leverage those learnings and knowledge to formulate strategy and drive build/buy/partner decisions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal (Product Marketing, Product Design, Sales, Operations, Training, Engineering, etc.) and external (Customers and Vendors) partners to bring new offerings to market and enhance existing offerings, as well as to effectively move your products through the product life cycle.
  • Understand the P&L and the levers to pull to drive top- and bottom-line growth.  You will have an important seat at the table in review of the P&L and any decisions that may impact margins, including pricing, margins, and vendor negotiations.  
  • A data-driven mindset is omnipresent.  Diving deep into historical revenue data to understand customer purchasing habits and customer lifetime value in order to make data-driven decisions on new product and promotion opportunities is paramount.
  • Act as an evangelist.  Be passionate about your products, and even more passionate about our success holistically.  You are eager to educate others on the value of your products and how they fit as part of broader marketing solutions for our clients, and live by the “We not Me” mantra.  We rise and fall together, as a team.

You have the following experience…

    • Digital marketing expertise: Minimum 5 years’ experience working with digital advertising products and/or agencies is a big plus, with strong PPC (Pay-Per-Click) experience coupled with strong business acumen.
    • Cross-functional collaboration: Demonstrated success operating in an environment where cross-functional collaboration was essential, particularly with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations.
    • Product & process growth and transformation: Experience working to create, redefine, modernize, and maintain new and mature products and processes
    • Data analysis:  You are comfortable mining and sorting data to identify new product opportunities, enhancement opportunities, and process pain points.
    • A big, strategic thinker:  While you are comfortable getting into the weeds with data and doing the nitty gritty, you’re also able to identify white spaces, to communicate a vision, and to turn strategy into an actionable plan.
